The debut extended play "FOSTERED CHILD EP" is an introductory portal into the experiences of surviving 14 years of foster care spanning four foster homes, a youth shelter, homelessness, and living on his own by the age of 16. The title of the work acts as an opportunity to reclaim the stigma and shame often attached to being described or describing oneself as a “foster child”. Intentionally blending African and Black art forms in modern ways, his music pays homage to the foundations of Soul and Hip-Hop including Gospel, Blues, House, Jazz, Folk, Spoken Word, and AfroBeat.
